Editorial Policy
The International Journal of Issues on Disabilities (IJID) accepts for publication scholarly articles and well researched papers. The area of focus includes, but is not limited to, education of persons with Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Speech and Language Disorders, Audiology, Low Vision, Speech Therapy, Guidance and Counseling, Working with families of Persons with Disabilities, Orientation and Mobility, Multiple Disabilities, Community Based Rehabilitation, Institutional Rehabilitation, Instructional Materials/Technologies, Autism Syndrome, ICT and Assistive Technologies and so on.

To be a resource centre for dissemination of research based information, collaboration, and linkages on issues of persons with disabilities.
The Editorial Board of International Journal of Issues on Disabilities hereby invites scholarly articles and well researched papers for publication in the Maiden Edition of its Journal. The area of focus includes but not limited to Education of persons with visual impairment, hearing impairment, learning disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Speech and Language Disorders, Audiology, Low Vision, Speech Therapy, Guidance and Counselling, working with families of persons with disabilities, Orientation and Mobility, Multiple Disabilities, Community Based Rehabilitation, Instructional materials/technology, Autism, ICT and Assistive Technologies, and so on.
STYLE OF MANUSCRIPTS
1. Manuscripts should be prepared in line with the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition format.
2. All articles must be preceded by an abstract of not more than 200 words also in line with APA.
3. Articles should not exceed 15 pages of A4 paper; double line spacing, including tables and graphs.
4. All citations should be contained in the references at the end of each article and should be the latest (6th) edition of APA referencing style.
5. Each article submitted must be accompanied by the soft copy on a re-writable disk.
6. Figures and diagrams must be picture ready.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES
Ø Each paper should be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 150 words containing at least 5 keywords.
Ø Maximum length for paper should not be more than 15 pages on A4 paper, double line spacing including tables and graphs as required.
Ø Author(s) name, title, designation, affiliated institution, mobile phone number and e-mail address should be indicated.
Ø Citation and referencing should be the latest 6th edition of APA referencing style.
Ø Papers accepted for publication must be accompanied with corrected copy of the manuscript and a rewritable disc.

All articles submitted are to be accompanied with a sum of N3,000 ($20 for International Contributors), being the Assessment fee. Authors of accepted and publishable articles would be asked to pay a publication fee of N12,000 ($60 for International Contributors).
