The International Journal of Issues on Disabilities (IJID) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of editorial management, peer review, production, and online hosting. The journal is committed to transparency and fairness regarding APC payments and refunds.

1. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds may be considered only if the article is withdrawn before the peer-review process begins.

  • Requests for refunds after peer review has started or after the article has been accepted will not be entertained.

  • Refunds are not provided for administrative errors, delays, or changes in the author’s decision to publish.

2. Refund Request Process

  • Authors must submit a written refund request via email to the editorial office.

  • The request should include the manuscript ID, author name(s), and reason for withdrawal.

  • Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

3. Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date of approval.

  • Refunds will be returned via the original payment method used by the author.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • The manuscript has undergone peer review.

  • The manuscript has been accepted or published.

  • The author simply changes their mind after submission.

  • The payment transaction incurs bank or processing fees.
